Hiding the feelings that grow stronger

The time that we are apart feels even longer

The clocks ticks and the cool breeze flows

As for me I know where my heart glows

We started off as strangers then became friends

They told me you like me though I didn’t feel the same

Soon after they said it started to make it a game

But I don’t know what made me love you more than friends

I think about you everyday, our late night talk, dumb jokes and everything

I plan what to say, you give butterflies when you say the sweetest things

I try not to stare, I try not to hide because I feel awkward

But I promise you when I’m okay I tell you afterwards

Even if many days have come and passed

But are small memories are still fresh, kept, and can’t be washed

Your sweetness, kindness and care

Gives me confidence not be scared

So I keep it down inside my heart

Hoping that nothing falls apart

I hope my heart will never be broken

All because of my love unspoken
